Imperial Paving Limited plays a major roll in the upgrading of runways, taxiways and aprons for international airports in the Vancouver Lower Mainland including Vancouver, Boundary Bay and Abbotsford.

Imperial Paving Limited has recently completed significant upgrades to Vancouver International Airport (YVR), Boundary Bay Airport (YDT) and currently completing runway, taxiway improvements at Abbotsford International Airport (YXX)

The expectations of this project required our grinding division to complete Mill and Fills while allowing the Abbotsford Airport to maintain its rigid flight schedules for arrivals and departures. Portions of this work were performed between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am while the runways were inactive.

Imperial Paving's recently upgraded Abbotsford Asphalt Plant was called upon to produce a variety of specified premix to a most stringent specification and serviced the demands of a paving spread which included 3 pavers, 6 rollers and 12 employees with production demands exceeding 380 tonnes per hour.
